- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Came home today to find an invoice from Dr. Lum's office in the mail for $79 plus interest for a late cancellation notice. When I called to cancel the appointment (back in early June) I profusely apologized as this was a true last minute event and I explicitly asked the receptionist if there were going to be any issues with my last minute cancellation. She was extremely cordial and insisted that I shouldn't worry about it and that we could re-schedule the appointment at any time. At no point was there a mention of this fee. While I understand that most professional offices nowadays charge these type of fees, I have never encountered one that would charge such a ridiculously high amount AND wait two months to send you an invoice AND charge you interest on top of everything. Up to this point, I was under the impression I had found a great dental professional but it is now clear that they are deceptive at best. My family will not continue doing business with them.
